Membership

Broderers are made up of Freemen, Liverymen and Members of the Court of Assistants and there is no limit on numbers.

Freemen need to be proposed by a member of the Court and seconded by another Broderer to be admitted to the Livery. There are two ways to join:

• Patrimony: any person born after the date of a parent’s freedom and currently over 21 is eligible for election
• Redemption: through an entrance fee following election
